Thinking About Change

All this social media technology makes me realize what a creative and beautiful opportunity we've been given, and that a lot of us old hippies, yippies and others can learn to merrily embrace yet another change in communicating.  Change is something we yearned for in our music and our thinking and our ways of seeing the world, and I, for one, don't want to stop now.  Sure, I still love getting that handwritten letter, and may it never become extinct. But I find change to be a way to refresh our old brain cells, getting rid of ideas that don't work anymore, thinking in fresh and interesting ways about work, life, love, humor, and ways to bring happiness to others.  As Eddie Reeves (and John Bean) always said: "Well, I don't care, yore gonna hafta change!"  Do it.  Think anew.  Whatcha got to lose?
